Leah Pruett- LeDuc to Debut in the Nitro Funny Car Class at the NHRA World Finals in Pomona!
Leah Pruett-LeDuc, will make her debut into the Nitro Funny Car class at the 2009 Pomona Winter Finals, November 12-15, driving the John Lindsay and Phil Miller owned Chevrolet Monte Carlo Funny Car sponsored by DragStar and TIGERFLOW Systems, Inc.
DragStar and TIGERFLOW Systems, Inc. will serve as co primary sponsors, with associate sponsors Iwata Medea, who are distributors of the World’s finest Airbrush Materials, and Coast Airbrush, located in Anaheim, Ca.
The NHRA Winter Finals will mark Leah's debut into the professional category of Nitro Funny Car. Over the recent months Leah has teamed up with the Impulse Racing Team to achieve one of her lifelong goals, to race an NHRA Nitro Funny Car.

Sacramento, CA (June 29, 2009) - Nostalgia Funny Car driver Leah Pruett-LeDuc became the first person in history to reach 250 mph in a Nostalgia Funny Car. The record breaking run took place at Sacramento Raceway’s 33rd Annual Nitro Nite of Fire on Saturday, where she posted a 6.07 et at 250.37 mph in round one eliminations.

The Holy Toledo funny car, owned by Ed and Ron Lenarth, was driven by Leah at the 51st March Meet at Famoso Raceway, March 6-8. The funny car field was the quickest it has ever been, with a 5.96 et bump by the end of qualifying. Unfortunately, Leah in the Holy Toledo, was unable to qualify for the field running her best of a 6.30 et. Although they did not get into the show, Leah is grateful for the opportunity to drive, and thanks Ed, Ron, and the team for their hard work.
